Story behind the drawing:
Ashley and Shenzi are twins. As children, they were inseparable. When they were 10, they went to the park with a few friends. Before leaving, their mother gave them each a pink glow stick to wear so that cars could see them at night. Shenzi trashed hers once she left the house, but Ashley wore hers all day. They met up with their friends at the park and had a great time. They had lost track of time and before they knew it, it was time to go home. They stayed with their friends for a few extra minutes to watch the sun set. Once it was dark they said their good-byes and headed home. Shenzi was in a hurry to get home cuz her mom was making mac & cheese for dinner, her favorite. While crossing the street, Shenzi was hit by a car and was killed instantly.
Now Ashley wears 2 or 3 glow sticks/glow bracelets at a time in memory of her sister.
